Ratchet Systems

The ratchet systems are used in combination with our toothed belts for tensioning. The lever is swivelled back and forth moving the respective belt forwards, one tooth at a time. These easy to use systems are preferably installed for use in car bicycle holders and also in orthopaedics. They are also well established in winter sport applications such as soft bindings.

Mega S4

Mega S4

The Mega S4 is preferably used in combination with the 22mm toothed belt when an easy operation is required. The lever ratio enables a high force to be attained, which is necessary to tension and hold heavy objects. The strain on the toothed belt is completely released by pressing the lever right down.

Mini N

Mini N

The Mini N is used in combination with the 18mm toothed belt. This type is built the same way as the Mega S or K, but is a lighter model made of plastic. The available force is somewhat lower.

Mini NA

The Mini NA is used in combination with the 18mm toothed belt. It’s identical to the Mini N but with a longer lever allowing easier operation.

  • Mega C2 with 22mm rachet belt
  • Mega K4 riveted on a plastic belt

Mega K4 oder C2

The Mega K4 or C2, used in combination with the 22mm toothed belt, is a module of similar build to the S4. The attainable force is the same as for the S4 but this system differs through a flatter design. The strain on the toothed belt is also released completely by pressing the lever right down. The flat design of the lever prevents unintentional opening. The lever of the model C2 is provided with an additional safeguard which makes an unintentional opening of the lever difficult.

Compact S

Compact S

The Compact S is used in combination with the 22mm toothed belt. This system is identical with the Mega S4 or K4 with the exception of being a shorter model with the Quick-Release function operated by a separate lever.
