Versatile solutions with clips: clever fastening for a variety of requirements

Clips

Clips are a key component when it comes to secure and reliable fastening systems. Gudo AG has developed a range of clips suitable for various purposes. This article provides an overview of the different applications for clips and the models we offer.

How do clips work and what are they used for?

Metal ski boot buckle with fine adjustment

Clips are designed to securely hold cables, timing belts or fabric straps in place. This is achieved by the clip clamping onto the cable, strap or belt. This also allows the length to be adjusted as required.

Gudo AG’s clips are used in the following products, amongst others:

Thanks to their high-quality workmanship, these are reliable components that ensure maximum safety.

The combination of the clip and Timing belt or textile straps ensure that shoes stay firmly in place on the foot. This is particularly important for ski boots and safety footwear. In both cases, it is of the utmost importance that the shoes fit snugly on the feet. If they do not, this can be potentially dangerous.

Helmets also need to fit securely, as otherwise they can pose a health risk. This applies to both bicycle helmets and safety helmets, such as those worn by police officers or firefighters.

Braces must also fit snugly against the part of the body they are designed to support – such as the knee or the Ankle joint. This is the only way to effectively relieve pressure on the joint. The combination of the clip and strap or band allows the brace to be secured in place. This ensures that it fulfils its purpose perfectly.
